Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is an international organization founded on the campus of Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana on January 5, 1911. Since its inception, it has trained over 125,000 men, particularly undergraduates, for leadership roles in their communities and the attainment of a high degree of excellence in their academic pursuits.

With more than 650 alumni and collegiate chapters in the United States and across the world, Kappa Alpha Psi is recognized as a major contributor to the advancement of the African American community.

In July of 2005, Kappa Alpha Psi further demonstrated its commitment to community by partnering with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at the 76th Grand Chapter in St. Louis.

Since then, the Fraternity has held a number of golf tournaments on behalf of the hospital, and last year presented a check to St. Jude for more than $100,000.
